We welcome members of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced photographers, providing opportunities to learn, create, and showcase work. New members are offered one-on-one tuition in camera craft and tuition if they feel it would be beneficial.

Regular activities include monthly meetings, workshops, guest speakers, competitions, exhibitions and photo outings that encourage creativity and technical growth.

MAPS fosters a supportive environment where members exchange knowledge and inspiration. The society also engages with the local community through exhibitions and events, celebrating photography as both art and storytelling.

Meetings are held at the Chewton Town Hall (Main Road, Chewton) on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month except for December and the second Tuesday in January.
